Bramble Grit and King Street Conspiracy both have made it through to the second round of the 8 week battle of the bands hosted by Bridy’s. Read the Nuvo article covering the King Street performance. 06/25/2006: Arcanum is currently getting airtime! On WIMC FM Radio out of Crawfordsville, IN, you can hear and request tracks during the Voice of the Independent Musician, Show, hosted by Bobby Steele. Tune in to WIMC at 7-9 pm every Sunday!
04/07/2006: King Street Conspiracy started tracking at Meyvn Records on 03/25/2006. The new tracks sound much better than the ones you hear on MySpace. Hopefully some will be posted here soon. Look for the CD in the coming weeks or months. It’s a kickin, cool & smooth Funk/Blues/Rock cross - The band says... “Nu-Jazz / Experimental / Funk. Maybe they know better... Fuck It! I hate genres... I say it rocks! . I really enjoyed working with this band and mixing their tracks. Mastering will be done at Meyvn Records also. You can check out King Street at ‘The Mouse Trap’, in Indy, on 04/2/2006. You can also find them playing at Birdy’s.

10/19/2005: Meyvn Records is currently mastering a new CD for airplay on 103.9 WIMC out of Crawfordsville with a nice local coverage area. The program you need to tune into is “The Voice of the Independent Musicians” hosted by Bobby Steele of WIMC. The show airs every Sunday at 7:00-9:00 pm EST. The new CD title “Place Of My Own”, by the band Debacle, lead by vocalist, songwriter and guitarist, Scott Lowery play very live sounding grunge acoustic rock. Some call it Rock-a-Billy. It’s a kickin CD with heavy laden bass grooves by our mello Indian friend Derrick Johnes, Jam Band drummer Chris Wells and some other cat spewing mean lead guitar... uh sorry but I forgot his name. I will post it as soon as I can. Tune in and check out whats happening with Indie Musicians in the Crawfordsville, Lafayette, Lebanon, and Indianapolis area!
8/22/2005: DeBard just released a new CD August 22nd, 2005. DeBard -- Arcanum. This is an Enhanced CDR, includes 13 tracks. Genre is Psychodelic, Electronic, Progressive Hard Modern Rock, somewhat Ambient, with a twist of Techno and Arcane Lyrics.
The Rhymlicks from Central Indiana have released their debut CD in May/2004. There is something for everybody on this CD. These two guys have a diverse taste in genres and they have created an interesting mix of Rock and Rap, with a twist of Techno. Believe it or not one song even kind of has a country feel with rappish vocals. Can you do that? It’s a treat to listen to and provides some humor also. These Indie Artists have produced a great debut CD and at a bargain price of 10 bucks.
